Re: Paul garmirian
These truly are a wonderful cigar. These are in my top 5 favorite current production cigars (not surprisingly) because they're made by Kenke Kelner; maker of Davidoff.
I think the 15th Anniversary Belicoso was probably one of the best cigars I had in 2009. I was recently gifted a 20th Anniversary by Papajohn and was very surprised at how full-bodied yet incredibly well-balanced it was. I just wish I saw these in B&M's with more frequency... |
Re: Paul garmirian
Very nice cigar but I can smoke an Oliva V or Masterblends 3 for half the price and get the same pleasure of smoking a premium cigar. It's all in what you enjoy and that's why there are many different brands and blends.:tu

I stand corrected... I stopped earlier today at the shop I bought it from, & I actually paid $10.50 for it. So yeah... That's a little bit more of an owey than I originally thought. :p Still great like you said, but I'd probably smoke more of them if they were 2-3 bucks less. :) |
Re: Paul garmirian
I personally don't care for these cigars and never did. I also have a problem with an "expert" who recommends cigars based on your height and weight, or on the darkness or lightness of the wrapper as a strength indicator.

Re: Paul garmirian
Had the PG Maddy Gourmet gran corona/Churchill at the herf yesterday. I was unimpressed, frankly. Not a bad cigar, and a few puffs revealed a wonderful coffee/chocolate flavor, but this alas was not often. Rest of time cigar was kinda blah. Construction was very good, nice, solid ash. Certainly not worth the $11 I paid for it. I rated it a "B."
