Meh... bout halfway down on the Genesis and half way through 2nd Bedlam... pretty parched actually and uneventful. They seem to be bringing each other down. Thought the spices in the Genesis would lend itself to the Bedlam citra hops in an interesting fashion.

Nyet!

Oh well.... as SNL character Jebediah Atkinson would say... NEXT!

My personal Vatted Blend "Johnny #4". It's a 20oz blend of 60% Rebel Yell and 40% Makers Mark 46, that I mixed about two weeks ago. Dam Good Stuff!

Oh, it's good stuff, but not one that you would ever want to just pound down; it benefits from slow appreciation. I used to be able to get it semi-regularly when stationed in Europe, even though it's got the "HTF" label attached to it. But if you put a bottle of it and a bottle of Jameson Gold in front of me and said "choose" I'd probably go with the Gold. It has more nuance to it.
