It is an affordable version of a great design. If you are set on assisted and are okay with chinese steel this is a sure winner! For about $15.00 over budget you could get a Kershaw knockout, USA knife! |

Re: (Official?) Pocket Knife Discussion Thread Another look at my scale, still love this knife. Why can't I ever remember to clean the blade before taking a picture?: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8518/8...192407a3_z.jpg Hoping to get my MM custom friction folder soon. I have been dying to get this thing! |

Re: (Official?) Pocket Knife Discussion Thread Looks awesome Shane, I have some neon green paracord inbound, if you want a lanyard to match, shoot me a PM, I'd be glad to hook you up. |

Re: (Official?) Pocket Knife Discussion Thread So some of you may have seen my Silent Soldier Flipper for sale. I notated a disclaimer that it had some minor blade rock. I sent Jason Brouse an e-mail stating such. He said "Send it to me, I can fix it". I shipped it out and it came back perfect and solid at no charge. He also included a few stickers and a cool sheep skinned lined pouch. You can judge customer service on how they respond to a problem, and gotta say Jason is awesome!!! http://distilleryimage9.s3.amazonaws...0a1f9a23_7.jpg |

Re: (Official?) Pocket Knife Discussion Thread The Brous looks different in that picture, Shane. Like the handle seems more rounded where you'd put your fingers. Oh well, still sexy. Can't place the second picture. Almost want to say a CRK? |

Re: (Official?) Pocket Knife Discussion Thread Congrats on the Strider Shane! If I could find a PT at a good price I'd probably find a way to sneak it in the house. |

Re: (Official?) Pocket Knife Discussion Thread Do any of you knife guys know a lot about the micro tech OTF ultra tech knife? I was handed down one from my Grandfather it's says 09/2001 and a serial number. Can't really find a good info on the older models Thanks. |
|
Re: (Official?) Pocket Knife Discussion Thread The older microtechs are great knives, I'm kinda glad the one I was thinking about selling didn't get bought. Check out microholics.org, they might have the info your looking for. Congrats and enjoy the hand me down, the only knife I got from my grandad is an old craftsman folder. |
