That's Ron Patrick's Jet Beetle. He's up here in the Bay area, Palo Alto (or is it Los Altos - whatever, they're next to each other) to be specific.

A street legal VW Beetle w/ a fully functional 1350HP GE T58 turbine in the trunk.

He also bought an SA-2 surface to air missle and wants to mount it in his lawn as a gag. Push a button, doors slide open, missle rises up into firing position, lights blink... Everyone laughs, then goes back to drinking...
