What is your present favorite NC?
 

Guys, I am considering buys a few sticks with Christmas gift $$. But, I don't get out much. I do not get to sample a whole bunch of the new stuff as there isn't a cigar brick and mortar that is less than an hour+ away...OK, there is, but it is also part of a head shop. So, not the place to truly buy cigars.

My problem is that when I do get to the towns where there are brick & mortar shops, I am in town to visit someone in the hospital & I don't want to smell like a cigar shop (cigar smoke) going in to visit them. The other problem is that I am at that time I do not have a good idea of what I should try.

Let me explain my cigar tastes, and then, if you would, tell me some of your present favorite newer NCs (something new is less than 3 years out) that you think I might enjoy.

1. My Father Le Bijou 1922 Torpedo Box Press. The 100 Anos is better but HTF.
2. Illusione La Grande Classe The Rex

You know, that is an interesting list. I have had #1 & #6, they are not necessarily "new," are they? Or, am I confused? (there is that very serious possibility).

Lots of good ones listed here. My current favorite is the Street Taco by Rojas.

For number one, the 100 Anos was a new LE release and was better then the regular Bijou BUT, in my opinion, the Bijou has been tweaked by My Father and has vastly improved over the original release. Could be the tobacco crops were just spot on but I think the blend was tweaked?

For number 6, maybe it’s just that I hadn’t smoked the Verocu before 2022. I had smoked the Red and wasn’t impressed. Then I discovered the Verocu and wow, now that is a good cigar!!

It’s with mentioning there are two other cigars that I love but they are shop exclusives.

1. Atlantic Cigars BLTC Dreadnaught. These just came out, very good.

2. Fox Cigars Araposa Negra. I have had wonky burns on these but they are really good.

I have not had these yet...will have to get a couple to try.

Truly enjoy the Caldwells I have had, including TKID. I have not had any Crowned Heads, there a snot ton of them, glad to have some idea of which ones to try, thanks.

This is not a mooch thread. I have a week of vacation and I hope to get into one of the "near" cigar shops that has a decent humidor.

Yeah, I am confident all of us have way more cigars then we can smoke and love to share ones we like that others may enjoy hah.

Current "newer" NCs I'm enjoying
The Rojas line, Street Tacos and Statement are two
HVC cigars
Crowned Heads(Mil Dias)
Aladino especially the Vintage(love this one)
Warped (1988)
Thankfully there's a ton of boutique brands to try out there now.

Davidoff Winston Churchill series of cigars are pretty impressive and refined.

As mentioned above, the Rojas Unfinished Business is a great smoke. West Tampa Tobacco Co. Black or White are fairly new. I prefer the Black over the White.
