Re: Losing some love for Pepin lately
Had a cuban classic that was in the humi for 10 years and it was AMAZING. Bought some new ones to age for a while. Maybe I'll try one in 6 months. Although I read somewhere that a year+ is where a...

Re: Losing some love for Pepin lately
This talk of DPG cigars going downhill is disconcerting. I've just got to a point in my life where I can afford some of them! :) For instance I got a Flor de las Antillas in a trade a couple weeks...

Re: What Is Your "Dream" Smoke?
I don't really have a dream smoke. Sure there are some that I'd like to try that are out of my price range, but I'm good with my $5/stick range. Heck, the world of cigars in this range is huge!

My new cutter arrived today, a Cuban Crafters perfect cut in the large size. I'm impressed with the build quality for $22.

Look at the size of this thing, good for 80 rg

Re: Show your latest NC purchase IV
Nice haul! I'm recently back into the hobby and see all the hype about "CFED" and their factory direct boutique cigars. Definitely let us know how they are. The Whipped Cream look/sound good.

Re: What cigar did you smoke today VI?
The weather was finally decent today so I had my new years eve smoke, a Fuente Opus X torpedo that has been in my humi for about 10 years.

This was a good cigar, draw and burn were excellent....

				 Re: It's a girl !!
Congrats! I remember the day my boys were born, 7 years ago, very vividly. After that, my cigar time went significantly down. Yours will too, but it's worth it :)

Found 1 old school Famous Nic 3000 in my humidor yesterday. Now to find another reasonably priced good smoke! The thrill is in the chase.

				 Re: The cellophane wrapper
Cool experiment - one I've thought about doing but don't have the time. If nothing gets through the cello, then why do we fuss with humidity levels?
