took an AR upper out for a spin today. 20" barrel, looks like good quality barrel, used, don't know anything else about it. Shot a 1.25" MOA group at 100yds from a shaky table & bipod, at dusk.......

Take a look at the Diamondhead VR-S rail. I think that's going on mine. I like the look, and I particularly like the way they designed their barrel nut - no timing issues, looks sturdy as heck.

Triggers depend a lot on use. For a defensive or offensive gun, yeah, mil spec all the way. I want a little bit of two stage creep in my pull.

I've got 1200 rnds of IMI m193 coming in from wideners next week. paid .50 a round for it, shipped. Figure if I can sell 1000 rnds of PMP for .80 a round and clear...
