I did this as well and a micro sim in dubai gave me a sim card error. I don't know if it was due to the fact the sim wasn't activated, or that my phone wasn't actually unlocked, but it convinced me...

Got some good news today... the iPad2 my wife is getting is actually 32GB, and we even have the option of upgrading (which we won't do, I don't think). Also, she gets her choice of color.

WPI is one of two schools with a fire protection engineering degree. If his ROTC scholly doesn't specify a major, he should look closely at that program as it has really good career options.
