Tonight I continued with the My Father line and smoked the No. 4 Lancero from the "Classic" line. This cigar fit right in between the Gran Oferta and Promesa in terms of construction and appearance....

Last night I smoked a My Father La Gran Oferta Lancero and a My Father La Promesa Lancero. The Gran Oferta was pretty good, but fell short of what I figured I'd get from My Father cigars. Nice even...

I put that Dapper on my "To Buy" list. I don't think I've ever tried any of their cigars.
Tonight I'm smoking an El Triunfador while watching Lord of the Rings. I'm not sure which cigar this is....

Tonight I tried a Balmoral Anejo FT Lancero and was underwhelmed. It looked promising at first. Great appearance and construction, perfect draw, good smoke production, even burn......flavor fell...

Small Batch Cigar has a COTM Club that gets really good reviews. Might want to check it out. I've never done the subscription myself, but I've always had good experiences with Small Batch.
