Re: House blends of discontinued blends

Supposedly the C&D Good Morning blend is a replica of Dunhill Early Morning Pipe. I was checking some reviews on TR and they say it comes in pretty close to the EMP.

Re: Favorite Morning Cigar

Yummy!

Yeah that is a good one. Monte 4's are great in the morning, but my all time favorite morning stick is a RASCC. Beyond good!

1. I don't have to dedicate so much of my time to a pipe each time I smoke one
2. its alot harder to smoke a pipe the wrong way round lol
3. When you smoke a pipe your IQ raises by 10 points

I picked up 3 oz.'s of of some 1792 flake yesterday. Absolutely a great blend. Smooth, no tongue bite, and a nice flavor. Not complex, but definitely nice. A very nice blend that you should have at...

Re: Penzance?

This is starting to get some heavy rotation now. Nummy leathery, silky smoothness with nutty overtones. Oh mama! In the meerschaum it just gushes flavor. Yay Me! :wo

Re: Savinelli filter question

Agreed,

My experience with filters is that they tend to hinder flow and flavor in a pipe rather than enhance it. I have yet to find a filter that does anything than cause problems in a pipe. :2

Re: MTS August: McClelland A.M. Pipe

C&D generously gave me a tin of their new clone of the Dunhill EMP. It's called "Good Morning." Very tasty stuff, and very smooth. I wonder how McClelland does in it's approach.

Yes,

It was a great time. It just nice being near the people that make the stuff that I enjoy. It's the same in the factories in little Havana. Those involved love what they do; you can tell when...

Re: Estate Pipe Salvage Work: Before/After

Nice find there! It's nice when you find an old treasure like that just laying around unused. I got a Savenelli the other day that was on sale for $42, and it has been smoking nicely!

Re: Whats in your bowl?

Been smoking some C&D Blockade Runner, but tonight I am enjoying the C&D Super Balkan. I like this better than the Balkan Sasieni that they have had in tins. Just a bit fresher tasting.....:tu
