If I was you, I'd read up a lot on Sea & Motion Sickness. Find as much as remedies as possible. Besides knowing your regular EMT Paramedic knowledge. I'm sure the more you know about that will help...

The car is much worse, and as mentioned before ventilation is a big one. but for some reason it's the last thing some store owners want to invest in.
