Thats good to hear, as I was afraid he had major damage to his taste buds! ;)
As for the Padilla Hybrid, it is one of my favorite smokes! I have found that for some reason they tend to try up...

Im intrigued that you like the Cremosa's. Everything I have heard about them has been terrible. No flavor other than burned leaves, etc. Will you tell me about your experience with them?
