Re: Padron Family Reserve #44: WAY at the top of the list. Serious C-

I bought a box 6 months ago and tried the first one tonight.

It was a strange experience, especially for a Padron. The burn was lousy at first, very uneven and difficult draw. Very spicy, almost...

Re: Box dates on illusione's

As long as they've been well stored, you should be good. Besides, 2 years isn't much. You have plenty of time to watch them age more in your care. If you tried to return them I think you'd have a...

Re: Cali b&ms

If you're anywhere near Sacramento, I'd recommend Tower Cigars. Mark is a great guy, and he has a nice selection.

Re: Blazer Torch Question

You're not ruining a perfectly good lighter, you're customizing it. Getting rid of a feature that you don't need that's a pain.

Re: What cigar did you smoke today II?

My first Padron 45th Family Reserve.
Glorious. Finesse was the word that kept coming to mind.

Re: Why so hateful lately?

You're right. I think the only thing we can agree on is that we hate the Hawks. Byfuglien especially.
FWIW Carlos, I am on other cigar boards where the things you mention are much, much worse. ...

Re: Chantix and cigars

I agree that you need to be careful. There is now a black box warning for this drug regarding mood changes. I have had patients get significantly depressed on it.

Same. I absolutely love these, and find them incredibly consistent. Too bad you didn't enjoy yours more.

Re: Boxing woes....

Boxing has been hurt by corrupt promoters, who don't care about the sport or the fighters, only the money. Don King has been a cancer to the sport.
If only it was all about the boxers.

Re: Help - Whats the Deal w/ My Sticks

I live in a humid environment, and my cigars do the same. Has nothing to do with being in Arizona, your humidor is the climate they live in.

Re: Rolex Owners?..

I have a plain submariner. Had it for 18 years, wear it every day, looks like I just bought it.
Keeps crappy time, but it's a very nice watch.

Just smoked another one from my box. Man, are they ever getting good. Age is very kind to these. I smoke 90% Cuban, these are a very pleasant change of pace.
