The U.S. Joined the Spanish American War to assist Cuba in its independence war against Spain.
As result of the treaty to end the war, Spain relinquished its claim to Cuba....

More bad news........
Going on cruise for weekend and just realized, NO SMOKING IN CABIN.
Not even on balcony anymore.
Will have to do it by the pool, in the wind, for all to see.

55 Yr Old Pre-Embargo Cuban
Going to kick back later tonight and light up and smoke the heck out of a 55 yr old Cuban I got my hands on 39 years ago or so and have had with me ever since.
Was saving it for upcoming cruise but...
