Re: Mild to Mediums worth trying

I have to put a word in for the Butera Royal Vintage, currently one of my favorite mild sticks.

Re: Anyone use Cigarbid.com?

I have. With no regret. I got a box of Bueso Genesis for $40. That can't be beat. Don't look for exotics. Mine usually arrive a little dry and need some box time. Just don't get caught up: set your...

Re: Don Cervantes Masterpiece

Re: Don Cervantes Masterpiece

Ah, maybe I was little harsh. Anyway, there's not that much info available, but it's a line from ACC (fancy accessories etc) They grow their own tobacco on their own land, ferment the leaves and age...

Don Cervantes Masterpiece

This is quite a cigar. You can dig up all the extensive aging info - they're known for this - and use of en tubado on line if you like, I can't be bothered. Anyway, this is a beautifully constructed...

Re: Paul Garmirian Symphony 20 Ltd Salomones Review

Ah, finally a PG review! This producer seems to have fallen off the public radar. Nice review. Too bad about the ring, I hate it when they do that.

Plasencia Reserva 1898

The Plasencia Reservaa 1898 is not a flashy cigar. It isn't wining awards. But I got it for $7 a 5 pack. What I did find out is that construction was quite good. The flavor profile lent itself to tea...

So I pulled the trigger on a full box of these. Great buy. Worked out to about 2 1/2 bucks a piece. Can't be beat.

Re: Room 101 Daruma Mutante (lancero)

Yeah, definitely worth a shot. I know my "reviews" aren't the: "The first third had overtones of toasted hazelnuts and a delicate touch of candied Meyer lemon peel," but I do my best! I do enjoy...

Re: Carlos Torano Exodus 1959

Continued the experience with a few robustos, which I preferred as well. Biggest failing was inconsistent construction - one stick was overly tight in the draw. I like the look of the dark, oily...
