I use a KABOB SKEWER most of the time. I also Hhave a DRAWPOKER. Works well...
DRY BOXING seems to work the best for me.

YES! Prelight draw is the key. You know when the draw is acceptable you.
I've had minimal success with drawpoker and kabob skewers to free up a plug, Particular in ccs.
I have had MORE but not...

TomHagen, I think that any cab that buffers swings in temp or humidity....Just lets the stick sit for the "required" time...is good.

The cooler is a classy option.
Costs 7x the STERLITE container and holds a wee bit more. The COLEMAN 150 qt iis impressive

And EVERYONE was grumbling that I NEEDED a better container..
So HERE is my 150 qt Coleman cooler.
Also useful to hold food at an eatible temperature. $80 shipped at Walmart...

Most humidors have thinner walls and looser fittings than a cooler.

These are all very valid thoughts.
The facts are that I spend NO more time on maintaining this box than I do any of my other boxes, big or small.
It was a wee bit of work to put the gasket on..then...
