Just one question. What RH were they kept at and smoked at? If the answer is 70% it was too wet. This is the reason it wouldn't toast for you and most likely a little harsh. Try keeping and smoking...

I doubt you will ever run accross a pluged Opus, since the filler is rolled in to skinny straws. Then the straws are bunched and wrapperd with binder then wrapper. I know this because I watched them...

These are a very nice smoke but I wish the price was a little more affordable. With Cali tax @ 47% plus State tax @ 8.25% it's tough to justify a box.

I agree on the flavor profiles with you, and yes you did smoke it too fast. That cigar takes me a good hour to truely enjoy it. One question, did it seem stronger than most any other Avo...
