Re: Tatuaje stogies

The Havana VIs are available for decent prices on Cigarmonster from time to time.

11AM and 11PM are when the full day's choices are shown.

Friday at 6 PM (usually) is when most of the week's...

Re: Best 30 min smoke

Mentioned once, but my current fav is the Cabaiguan petite.

The CAO La Traviata petites are worth a try.

For something with more power 601 Red Guapitos, CAO MX2 and LX2.

Re: Cigar Bid

I spent a lot of time on CBID back in '06 and '07--and still have a bunch of cigars around from those days.

One thing to keep in mind is that your tastes will change over time--so the smoke you...

Re: Ever Use CIgarPlace.biz?

Great vendor with excellent prices on many brands.

They have also been known to carry alleged "B & M only" brands at great prices--sweet! Always carefully review the stock list when you are at...

Re: WTF is wrong with people?

It could be a coincidence, but I have never had anyone complain about my cigar while I had my ferocious dog by my side.

Get one--and don't go outside without him.

Re: Oliva V Diadema...

I lit up my first V diadema in the car one day--the volume of smoke totally blew me away, I couldn't see through it and I had to pull off the road--never seen anything like it.

Great smoke--but...

Re: Backorder from JR Cigars

My experience is that JRs will not honor back-ordered sales prices after the sale has expired--we will see what happens....

Re: Backorder from JR Cigars

You probably ordered one of the sale items which sold out at the sale price.

Either JRs has no intention of carrying that product in the foreseeable future or they have no intention of offering it...

If those turn out to be legit I have a problem:

(1)Nowhere to store more boxes of smokes after the Monster got me in the last couple of weeks (including a box of VSGs and a box of San Cristobals)....

Re: NC Petite Corona

I have smoked a few of these. ;)

I believe newhavanacigars will sell the petite tats in smaller lots--but these age very well, so you might as well buy a box and let a bunch of them sit for a...

Re: Siglo Limited Reserve

The ad that sent me over the edge was a vendor claim that La Aroma de Cuba was the brand loved by Winston Churchill.

The words are correct but the intent is simply fraud (imho).

Re: On the eve of Schip, any boycotters?

I received an email from one (fairly obscure) vendor that claimed it was Oliva who raised their prices and added a SCHIP markup. The vendor said because of that they were no longer going to carry...

Talking Re: On the eve of Schip, any boycotters?

I saw this coming when the SCHIP debate started a couple of years ago.

I am stocked up to wait out two Obama administrations.

We will see who outlasts who.

Re: What Joe Cigar won't tell you, and how to figh

I let all my smokes sit for months (at least) and dry box everything. Joe's DPGs, 601s, and JDNs have been identical to other vendors in my experience.

But--I haven't bit on a Joe deal in...
