Youse guys are right in stating that MEASURING to get a proper baseline is soooo important.
I have not done this for water as well as coffee...so I am a bit lame...

For me...there is no METHOD of taking it apart.
When I get it open most of the time it comes off the rails.
Didn't happen to my burl or black..Just the CF..

I have a Palio CF That is VERY tight to open and close.
I pulled it apart a few times cause it's sticking.
What do I/we use to lubricate the rails?

I know there's a bunch of lube I can try.....
