Re: Anyone into beer like they are cigars?
Very nice collection. I have recently started a collection. Black Ops, Life and Limb, Vertical Epics 06-09, etc.
I'm a beer guy getting in to cigars. I don't buy too much commercial beer, as I am...

Re: What beers are you enjoying?
I recently tasted Goose Island 312 and Summertime kolsch again for the first time in awhile and this is exactly what I thought of. Nice light beers, but with great flavor, no off flavors, and just a...

Had a Jolly Pumpkin Madrugada Obscura and a Sierra Nevada 30th Anniversary Stout the other night. Both were very good. Drinking a Hofbrau Maibock right now.

Re: What beers are you enjoying?
We are out of it now, but we got a few cases of it a few months ago. Don't remember exactly. My Imperial Black Ale really reminded me of that beer, not as close as a clone, but similar aspects.

Re: What beers are you enjoying?
One of my favorite beers. Had it last year in a bottle, and on tap the other day. Still trying to fork out $23 for a 4 pack. Luckily we got 23 cases of it where I work.

Re: Where do you smoke?
Mine is not worth the trouble of taking a picture. It's right out my back/side door, sitting in a plastic chair, under a tiny awning, right next to my driveway. I will be moving in a few months, but...

Re: What beers are you enjoying?
This beer gets pretty good ratings, but I am not a fan. It tastes like grass to me. Yea I know it's the piney noble hops, but still. They might as well have just thrown grass into the boil.

Re: What cigar did you smoke today II?
Oliva O Maduro Torpedo
It's been months since I've had a cigar, and I had just started smoking them last fall. It's been too cold. This was a great way to get back in to the swing of things. I...

Re: Homebrewers - Whats in the fermeter?
Hot damn! $45 a batch!? I average $8-20, no beers under 5% abv. Are you doing extract? AG + buying in bulk = win. I got 6 POUNDS of hops shipped from hopsdirect.com for about $90. If you bought them...

Re: What beers are you enjoying?
Yes it is.
Had a few Christmas beers, Great Lakes and Rogue were my favorites. I wouldn't want to drink many of any of them though, not my thing. Had a Heavy Seas Peg Leg Imperial Stout tonight,...

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!
Snagged a bottle of Van Winkle 10yr 107 and 12yr Lot B. We got some 15yr in at the store but it didn't go on the floor, all the managers snagged them I think. Maybe I'll get one next time. We sold...

Re: Homebrewers - Whats in the fermeter?
I would definitely get some Star San. It should last you a lifetime. Get a nice sturdy bucket (I use an Ale Pail) and 5 gallons of Distilled Water. Use 1oz of Star San per 5gal of water. By using...

The last bottle I picked up was Russel's Reserve 10yr. Very nice for $25. I really wish I could have got some of the BTAC, but at $70 a bottle, no thanks.
