I don't remember the name of the method, but it was the way
www.mydellmini.com said to do back late last winter/early spring. I got two finger scrolling to work, but it was buggy, and the sound would get static at random times.
I'm sure they've improved it since then, but really, for a net book, windows XP works just fine.
