Hockey Championship

My men's league team played the deciding game of the Finals lasy night, and we won our first title in a few years. 5-3 win in a very physical and close game. I had two assists, and more Guinness than that in the post-game celebration. Anti-smoking laws made me put off my celebratory cigar until tonight...smoking a '70s Partagas Lonsdale to cap off the week. Here's a couple pics from the locker room after the game, disregard the semi-naked player in the background.

Lived in that rink for 10 years. Chargers through Lake Zurich Hockey, still there quite a bit for little brothers high school games.

Ashamed to say I'm not, College has gotten the best of me. Might have to lace em up over the summer though. You guys play there regularly?

Yup, as you get older you realize each one could be your last, and they just seem to mean more...especially when I was able to share it with a locker room full of great friends.
