			2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour 2 Tbsp sugar 2 Tbsp baking powder ¼ cup ground flaxseed 1 tsp salt 1 tsp dried basil 1 tsp dried rosemary 1 tsp thyme 1 Tbsp cooking oil 12 ounces beer, at room temp Directions: Mix all the dry ingredients. Add oil and beer. Stir until dough is just mixed. Put dough in a greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 min. or until nicely browned. Remove from oven and let bread cool in pan for 10 min. Remove from pan to cool some more. Makes 4 servings

			Sounds tasty and easy to make   Do you recomend light or dark beer for this recipe?

			I used Coors Light.  I don't think it matters what type of beer you use, but using a dark beer for this recipe sounds tasty.

			I have made it several times and have always used a lighter (but not light) beer like budweiser. IMHO i think dark beer would take away from the sweet taste or at least cover up the sweet taste. I normally enjoy beer bread with a nice bowl of home made chili with tabasco sauce
