Computer help Outlook 6

I got a message on my computer asking me if I wanted to compact my messages. I clicked the yes button, it did it's thing and now I just lost all of my messages from 7/2/08 forward.

I'm using Outlook Express 6

How do I get them back?

They are prob in your archive folders..
