I have been toying with Photography for the past couple years, I have shot freelance for several sports photographers. And I have wanted to start my own deal. Today I shot my first 'on my own' deal. I did a softball team personal and team pics and then shot the game after. I didnt make a dime as I gave them 'my price' to build my portfolio...but what a feeling! I got so many compliments and scored a gig to shoot a semi-pro football team.

Just wanted to share! I finished the day by enjoying an 888 infront of an open fire in my cul-de-sac

Congratulations! Nothing like the feeling of the first time doing it on your own. Kind of the opposite of sex.

I use to do photography years ago when it wasn't all that popular. Have been toying around with the idea of getting back into it. Congrats to you on your success.
