Resident Maduro Whore!!
|
Had one of these for lunch yesterday...this thing was AWESOME!!! Going back today to get another one.
If you like a tasty, messy burger...this one's for you. 1/2 pound burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, and mayonnaise) with melted cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon, and a sweet and smokey honey mustard sauce placed between a pretzel bun ![]() ![]() And of course, mine was a double.

That burger is 920 calories alone. But worth it i bet.
Maybe I talk Mickey into this for lunch..... Hmmm...

Suck It

920 calories doesn't seem excessive in the modern fast food environment,
and certainly fair for what I see on that cardboard box. Sure, it is 2/3 of a reasonable day's caloric intake, but I am not sure that I would want much else to eat for the day after that. I think if people remember that there is no outcome other than bad for exceeding 1500-1800 a day, eating one of those can still be reasonable. Its eating that for lunch and then going home that night and eating a full meal that is inexcusable. |

Feeling at Home
|
Stopped in today for lunch and saw a Pretzel Pub Chicken on the menu so I gave it a try and thought it was really good. Pretty much the same toppings as the burger minus the bacon. If you liked the Pretzel burger this is worth trying...

Looks delicious, how was the grease level? I've always found Wendy's to be excessive, like oil soaked 100% through the bottom bun type excessive. This one doesn't look too bad though, maybe the pretzel bun is grease resistant.

Don't Taze me Bro!

The Wendy's near me is not that greasy.
Had one last week as I love pretzels. Went with the 1/4 lb. Not a bad burger, but I thought the pretzel could have been a little better. Not as soft as I would have preferred. |
