cell phone help

My friend just got a samsung instinct (t-mobile I think) The phone did all sorts of great things, voice calling, voice gps and internet. My phone needs to be replaced, but I have Verizion, what would be the same phone in verizion. I dont really keep up on the latest and greatest, but I like the idea of Internet and navigation in a phone with a touch screen and since I am not good with text a "full board" would be helpfull. Can anyone help?!?

I would go with a Blackberry Storm... the touch screen is sweet and the features are very rich and full. Once they get a couple of patches out for the bugs it will be a great phone IMO.

There are a few on Verizon that would fit the bill:

HTC Touch Pro
Samsung Omnia
LG Dare
HTC Touch (my phone )

I have the HTC PPC6800(Alltel) and have been extremely happy with the HTC products. I have been thinking about upgrading to the Touch Pro. Smoother looking and still has the Mobile Office stuff.

Thanks Brothers, I checked with Verizion and they no longer fit my needs. So needless to say I went with sprint and got my samsung instinct.
