I've been smoking a couple cigars a day since '92 and still spit a lot when I smoke cigars. I've never taken a drag of a cig, so I don't know about that.

A few sticks I have and most of time no.If I feel like I have to spit like when I first started I'll grab a drink.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but, drink something when yoiu smoke. Your producting much more saliva because of the heat of the smoke. Should help!

Guys,

This post is not directed toward new smokers. It is directed to heavy smokers who have been doing so for years: IF YOU ARE SPITTING ALOT AND SMOKING MANY CIGARS PER DAY, YOU NEED TO REDUCE THE AMOUNT YOU SMOKE DAILY. I'M OBVIOUSLY NOT A DOCTOR, BUT LETS GET THIS STRAIGHT, PERIOD. (Your spitting will reduce to close to none in a few months).

Yup, just like JD said. I only spit when I'm smoking way too much, usually second or third stick in a row at a rapid pace.

Once I slow down I'm good.
