Way out there

I have had this old Tourniquet case since I was a little kid. I purchased it a ARMY surplus store (I was 10 or 12 years old). I have loved it since I bought it's never really been used for anything. I'm guessing Vietnam war era but don't know for sure.
I will add some spanish cedar for good measure. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

It's got a rubber seal and is (was) made water and dust proof. I did water test it and only got a couple drops which could have been on the outside. |

That is an awesome retro box there. I just use a couple cedar sleeves off of cigars in my traveldor.

I was hankering for a game of cigar tetris and I had some cedar dividers from my desk top so I figured I would see how I could use it in the TOURNIQUETADOR.
This is how it fit with absolutely no modifications. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I fit 38 cigars in it. That's a decent overflow storage until I get the Wineador. |

Neat looking box.
![]() I've seen 50 cal ammo boxes converted into a bunch of uses, I've got one I use as a watertight tool kit for the truck. A buddy has one he uses as a humi.

Dear Lord, Thank You.

That is bad ass. Period.
You should get some closed cell weatherstripping for around the inside edge of the lid. It'd hold humidity great. ... Now I think I see an old rubber seal in there? If it's good, erase what I said. Dood, super cool. I envy you.

My Fiancee is in the Coast Guard, and she brought home an old .45 Ammo Can. I was thinking about cleaning it, and trying it out. This idea has me pretty interested.
