Santana pitched a gem (first complete game for the Mets this season) and light hitting Nickeas hits his first HR (a grand slam) of the year as the Mets beat the Padres, 9-0.

Way to go Acosta...Mets and Phillies neck and neck going into the night...and he gives up 3 runs as the Mets lose 8-4...but still in 2nd place. Turner twists his ankles in the third inning and Wright has to move to SS. Oh boy...here we go again!!

So what is it with the SS position for the Mets? I'd think Reyes put a curse on it, save that he himself was always injured too! Seems the best way to get on the DL in the majors is to play @ 6 for the Metropolitans.
