Haven't seen Basket or Walking on Dead Fish. Thank you.
With complete knowledge and acknowledgement that ANY 'top' list will be criticized to death...... I do think though, that if looking for a 'family' sports movie to watch with kids (of any age, I suppose) Blind Side and Sandlot would be on my list above Pride of the Yankees, Knute Rockne and Chariots of Fire. |

Breaking Away, not only is it a great sports movie, it's one of my favorite movies (and family friendly).

What about No Country For Old Men? A great film.
As I see it, that mean bastid killed people for sport, and it was a family movie . . . the Manson family, anyway.

Chillin in the Aging Room

The Sandlot is my favorite sports movie. It always bring me back to my childhood to the Summers I spent running to the park to play ball with my friends. I think it probably brings back the same feelings in most guys about their childhood. Great flick.
