Smoked the 4X46 Black last week and while it smelled great pre-light (BBQ smoke), the taste was very bland and unflavorful. Matter of fact, it really didn't have any taste to it. Normally not a fan of the rothchilde size, so have a few others sizes to give this stick another whirl.

I like the 446 black a lot. I've found they are better on the dry side (I feel this way about all of my smokes which is I why I dry-box them)

Is it me or did the black kick my ass with power? I got about half way and holy power house!

Welcome back Sam,I have missed you and your place in the cigar world. I have used fire cured tobacco in the sticks I roll at home, and am familiar with Italian fire cured sticks. The flavor is unique, and may take a bit of time to acclimate to. I look forward to trying your products,I always try a new stick and then age a few for reference later, too many sticks are sold young or have an awkward phase in the first year or so. I remember the first My Father Le Bijou I smoked, not bad, but NOTHING like they were after 14 to 16 months. Now the ones I have are 3 years old,and are amazing. I think your sticks could be the same way.......best of luck and welcome back............ |

Very much interested in the black, I've heard a lot of good things. Will probably get a few with my next order to sample.
