I keep on posting, however my post count number never goes up?

Any reasons/ explanations?

Certain sub-forums don add to your post count - New Inmate & Banter to name a couple.
Besides, does post count really matter?

I still think that post count and smoke rings should go away. It shouldn't matter how many times you've posted in the jokes forum or how many times your friends bump you. It certainly doesn't have any bearing on how people on CA should view someone. Lots of posts, lots of smoke rings do not mean that someone is the fount of all knowledge (except in my case)
