Ok, so this thread convinced me. I'm going to pick up a couple of cobs. I've never smoked a pipe......ever, and have been thinking about trying it out. I was looking online at all the pipes you can get and there's some really cool ones, but I'm not crazy about spending a ton until I know if I like it or not.

Didn't mean to thread jack, just wanted to say this thread is very helpful.

I have several cobs and have probably smoked them a dozen times. For some as yet unknown reason, I never liked them. Maybe I'll give them another try.
