I fill up empty pipe tobacco tins with my first time bands only.

If any one needs those bands which I throw away regularly for a project, then PM me and I will save and send them. At my rate of smoking, they would pile up quite quickly. |

I'm like a lot of the others here. I just keep saving them. Probably for the undecided craft project down the road someday

I'm trying to resist the urge to save them. I don't have any real use for them and I know they will end up just taking space. At this point in my life, I've realized I've hung on to so many things for so long, just in case I may use them some day, and end up throwing the stuff out in the end anyway.

I try to keep a journal of the ones I really like.

I keep them, and probably will forever as I just love the way they look. I've been keeping everything with a band in a metal topped Ikea-esque jar. It's a small collection so far, but they range from a (lone) Dutch Master and Consuegra bands sitting next to Hemmingway and Montecristo bands.

In a large glass display in the lounge. Can be seen far right bottom http://www.cigarasylum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=4238 And they eventually turn into projects like this. http://www.cigarasylum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=4238

As of right now, I'm keeping every band to every cigar I smoke in hopes of one day becoming inspired enough to create something with them.

I've got a couple of boxes filled with bands right now, and am waiting to accumulate quite a few more boxes of empty bands. I have a plan in mind to build an "end table" humidor for my game room and cover the sides/top with the bands.
