Help Me Decide On A Xikar Xi3 Cutter

Hi all,

So my wife told me that she wanted to buy me a Xikar Xi3 cutter for an early Christmas gift as she knows how much I love my Xi1 cutter. The trouble is I can't decide on which one to get. And yes I know that there is no true difference between a Xi1 and an Xi3 except that you pay more for the fancy finishes on the Xi3 cutters. I.E. That mammoth one or the 3D Mayan one.

I'm thinking of asking for the "Phantom" carbon fibre one. Should I pull the plug and get it??

If I were you and liked the Phantom carbon fibre would, I'd go for that one.

I am partial to the Palio cutter.

I have a Palio already. One of the made in the USA normal black ones.

Also, I've heard from various people that the Xi3's have more "weight" or "heft" and feel more solid in the hand when compared to an Xi1 is that true???

If it's true then does the Phantom Xi3 feel more "solidly made" and hefty as well if it's made of true carbon fiber? Or would it feel lighter?

To be fair, that's from Amazon USA and I'm in Canada. Plus it's a third party seller selling it for that price so who knows if they even would have shipped it internationally to me.

I also have this cutter Xi3 Redwood. I had my initials added to the center of the cutter.
