				 | Southern California Help!!!

I'm trying to figure out the name of a park and if the rocket ship is still there. I was born and raised in southern Cali till I was 11, then moved to the cold Michigan area...brr... Anyways, around Aneheim / La Habra, somewhere around there, I remember a big park, had a sandy play ground, metal toys and slides, swings, though the big thing that I remember is this probably 3 story metal rocketship, that went straight up into the air. You could climb all the way to the top and "drive" it. My mom took a picture on her camera phone when she was there years ago but doesn't remember the name of it. about 16 years ago at least, there was a carls junior really close to it and I believe there is a school or baseball diamond or a track way off to one side. I know it's a long shot, though would love to know so I could go there again when it's feasible, take my daughter and relive some memories. |

No, but a park near my house still has one of these vintage playground items.

Those rockets are freaking awesome. Maybe the coolest playground equipment I've seen (or maybe I just like Futurama too much ). |

had lots of fun as a kid in parks like this in socal i was not sure if that kind of stuff was still around. i remember other kids getting hurt all the time on stuff like this but they were usually climbing up the outside of the rocket.
