I guess it's HBO's answer to SHOWTIME's 'Weeds'.

I just watched my first episode yesterday and I liked it. It feels like familiar territory...here's this unassuming gal in this role where she's working hard to make an indecent living...

In 'Weeds', she's selling pot....in 'HUNG', she's a pimp.

Yep, and he's the Ho. (there's a big billboard on my way in to work on Santa Monica Blvd. showing a pic of him and her and underneath each in big words 'Ho' and 'Pimp', respectively)

Interesting switchup, engaging enough...I already set my DVR to record the series, at least up until 'Californication' is back....

SEPTEMBER, baby! Can't wait.

I was interested after the first 2 episodes, but last night's just wasn't that entertaining. They need to pick it up soon or they will lose me as a viewer.

The idea behind this series has been compelling enough for me to watch so far, but I think I'm gonna lose interest in this one before too long.

It looks like next weeks show should have a little more substance. Last night was a waste of a show.. 20 minutes in I said to myself, "are they going to do anything other then look for the man's wallet??".
