| Still Watching My Back | Detailed model airplanes

A friend sent me this the other day. As a former model and real airplane builder, I was very interested in this. I think building a real airplane is a cakewalk compared to what this guy has accomplished! It takes awhile to go through the whole page & look at the pictures but it was worth it to me and, I would think, to anyone who appreciates outstanding craftsmanship (even if they're not interested in airplanes). http://www.craftsmanshipmuseum.com/park.htm |

I thought you might like the model pics, hotreds I can't make anything out of wood that doesn't look like a bird house I made in Cub Scouts but, I used to make airplanes. This one took 5 1/2 years and I flew it for 475 hours. 180 mph with a 150 hp Lycoming (that I overhauled). I helped a friend build this one: WyoBob |
