Thanks again all for the well wishes. It turned out to be a nice evening once I got out of the plant. Decided to take a drive to a small town about 30 miles west of KC, for some BBQ. Dinner was excellent, as was the libations (Nutty in Kentucky; bourbon, coke, salted peanuts). Was about to leave town, but decided to drive down Main Street. Lo and behold, there's a cigar shop. Stopped in and had an enjoyable smoke, another La Galera (Habano wrapper this time). Place was in the basement of a tobacco auction house. HUGE humidor, nice lounge area, gracious proprietor. All in all, a great night.
