I usually just take out the memory chip and plug it into the drive on my MacBook Pro. That may help. I can usually find whatever I need by googling questions if I have Mac problems or you could probably go to your nearest Apple Store and they could help you. Not sure what you're looking for exactly.
You can download office which is word, PowerPoint, and excel from Amazon for $113 it looks to be a one time fee.
