I was actually just talking about this with my fiance over the Thanksgiving weekend. My grandma used to make the best Christmas cookies, German potato salad, ham, Jello salad, chocolate jimmie cake, lemon-poppyseed bread and her own special salad. I sure do miss her and her food, especially around the holidays.

Here too. My Grandma made the best homemade noodles ... skinny ones in some sort of beef broth. We have tried a lot of recipies over the years and nothing even comes close.
