Had my new hip a few years now. I still ache some but I'm a fat bastard. As had been said by a few already PT is the key. Give it 100% and things will be better in the long run.

Congrats on the upcoming surgery, Jeff!!!

My right hip is shot, but I won't let them mess with it yet. I got a bunch or screws and rods in my back, and while it still isn't any kind of picnic, it made a world of difference. I couldn't be happier that I had it done.

Im three weeks out from my total hip revision and while pain meds are still necessary at times Its nothing compared to the pain before.
