Sumatra is a strain of tobacco originally from the island of Sumatra in Indonesia although it is grown elsewhere now too. Typical smoke characteristics are that it's a dry, spicy and aromatic leaf. No, it's not exclusive to Pete's cigars, although don't be surprised if he does something like source specific wrappers that have an unusual, unique look to them.
