Mine comes apart easily and then the blades fall out. I'm not sure how the blades would fall out without the Palio coming apart. The funny thing it cuts better than the carbon fiber style one that doesn't come apart. I don't even use the carbon fiber one anymore because it cracks the heads of cigars.

Couldn't that possibly mess up the gap between the blades?

I just have to get around to bringing these in some time. Like I mentioned before, it took me months to finally send in my broken Xikar stuff. Hey, stuff breaks or malfunctions. That's why I'm glad Palio and Xikar products are fully warrantied for life. If they weren't, I probably wouldn't pay the premium.
