Had a bottle of Trader Joe's Vintage 2011, pretty tasty and quite a nice alcohol effect.

Over the Holidays, I had some Chocolate Rain Forest Porter, brewed by our own kaisersozei (Gerard). Paired them with an Esencia lancero, and it was 90 minutes of pure Heaven.

Had a bottle of this on Christmas Eve. Excellent beer, going to head back to Trader Joe's and acquire some more.

Green Flash Double Stout. Pretty good beer overall. Kinda expensive for a 4pack though.

I agree. Green Flash is an excellent brewery. Their entire line is very good. But they've put a premium price on their beer.

Rather than buy at retail, I prefer to visit the brewery/tasting room. It's 2 miles from my home.

Yeah Green Flash has great beer for sure. I just wish their beer was priced a little better. Did you snag any Silva Stout? I hear that beer is finally drinking good.
