It gets down in the teens at night and stays around freezing during the day right now. I would say my garage stays about 40 degrees right now.

That sounds like the temp I roast in. I have not had any issues. When it gets to cold in the garage, my roaster wont work. I like to roast in the garage because my son doesnt like the smell and I usially take the time to smoke and catch up on my fun reading on bullitin boards I am on.

I had some Guat Hunapu that I had roasted on the 23 of Dec...very dark, probably the edge of Vienna. I just start drinking it again (Broken French Press) and it is soooooo good. ![]() I had let it degass for 5 days it has been sitting in a sealed mason since then. I am going to roast it again today like that and let it sit and degass for a while; I want to recreate that same thing. Mason Jar--loose seal for 24hrs, then tightened down. |
