I used to smoke them exclusively, but smoke many more toro's and robusto's these days. 6x60's take too much time to smoke.

Once in a while a 60 ring is a nice change of pace when you have a 2-3 hours to do nothing else but smoke the cigar, but I usually prefer the 44-52 gauges. Even if you have the 2-3 hours, the smaller ones are easier to manage if your multitasking while enjoying your smoke.

I thought I liked this size a few months ago, but now find them a bit too big, and takes too long to smoke. I have settled on robustos as the ideal size for me.

I do tend to gravitate toward 60 rg cigars more than any other size, though length is not that important. Don't know why, I just like 'em.
I smoke A LOT of the El Baton Double Toros. A LOT of them. Actually, I really like the whole El Baton line, and the robustos are just as good; oddly (to me), the robustos seem to have more of a nicotine kick to them, so being a lightweight I tend to stick to the double toros. |

I prefer not to smoke anything smaller than 80 RG.

IMPO ( And I'd be open to constructive criticism as to whether or not this is bad cigar smoker thinking ) I do not think a manufacturer should charge as much for a 4 X 40 petite corona as they do for a 7 X 48 churchill, a 6 1/2 X 54 torpedo or a 6 x 52 toro. Yet I see it all the time.

The majority of cigar purchases these days are fat rg. The casual customer buys them over the traditional sizes. And there are ALOT more casual smokers compared to the handful of enthusiast. Being that these fatties sell more, it keeps the cost down of the smaller rg. If each vitola was run as a seperate business line, a lancero would probably cost 2X that of a churchill. ![]() PS... this poll is kinda strange, either you hate 60rg, or you can't get enough of them. I am willing to bet that most people fall in the middle somewhere. They certainly arent my favorite vitola, but I really love a FFP. |

Once in awhile I will go for a larger RG cigar, but it is a rare thing with me these days.

There aren't too many 60rg cigars I have found to like. The one I do like alot is the UZI, but the Baitfish is alot better IMO. I think the larger RG on most blends tends to dull out the flavors to me. I'll be glad when a PC or Lancero fad comes.

Too big in my opinion. Hard to get going, don't create a lot of smoke, and most of them seem to have burn issues.
