I am not sure that I like the idea of fire cured tobacco in a cigar blend. I do not like cigar tobacco in pipe tobacco either, just doesn't come off right. I've had Perique in both cigarettes and cigars, neither benefited from the experiment. I have seen Latakia used in cigars, that was a failure as well.

Cigars are cigars, and pipes are pipes.

If this is fire cured that tastes nothing like pipe tobacco, then maybe.

I guess I'd try one, but my expectations will be miniscule.

A store close to me has consistently had Papas in stock. I've heard that these aren't too hard to find. If you want some, I'd be glad to pick someone up some at cost

Didn't want to make a separate thread, seems unnecessary.

My question is, if the fire cured leaf going to impart it's smokiness to other sticks in the humi? Should these be treated as an aromatic?

The "peaty scotch" description caught my attention so dig a little googling. Found them at a place called Finck Cigar Company. I've never heard of them...anyone dealt with this company before?

Little more expensive than CI is showing but they have it stock (or at least it looks like it does -I didn't purchase but it let's me add it to the cart and not showing backordered).

Late bump I suppose. As far as Fincks, they are legit. I bought a lot from them when I was in San Antonio.

Has anybody had these yet?
