Default Re: Kitchen transformation

It's kind of time consuming because you have to wait for the different coats to dry. once you deglaze everything, you have to wait for it to dry then one coat of color, dry time, one more coat of color, dry time, decorative glaze, 8 hour dry time, then clear coat, dry time, then mount them again.

Most of the time it was just me working on it, so I could only do a couple of doors a day, but when I had help it went pretty quick(minus the dry time between coats) Just the bottom of the kitchen took me about 6 days. The top shouldn't take me as long because there is only 10 doors and the frame.

Totally worth the effort, the pictures don't do it justice. If you're thinking about doing it, try it out on a bathroom first and see how you like it. I got one door from our bathroom done and knew that I wanted my whole kitchen to look like that. Now I just have to do both of our bathrooms like that because my wife likes it so much.
